Director of Supply Chain
The Director of Supply Chain will report directly to the President. The successful candidate will have responsibility for all overseeing the development and execution of the sourcing and negotiation strategy.

Responsibilities
- Manage factory support functions including planning, procurement, and inventory control
- Negotiate beneficial agreements to support company profitability and Customer service
- Sponsor a culture of dynamic thinking and performance to drive growth and profitability thru a thoughtful sourcing and procurement strategy
- Be hands on in establishing day-to-day activities in order to enhance / improve the current procurement and planning process
- Establish and meet aggressive timelines for initiatives
- Play a lead role in integration of acquired businesses: leveraging volume, new relationships, etc.
- Lead the preparation and execution of the overall sourcing plan
- Develop cost reduction plans and initiatives to enhance profitability
- Direct the procurement team
- Support product development from concept thru commercialization
- Ensure robust business practices are in place and adhered to
- Actively participate with Suppliers for problem solving and resolution
- Develop and visit international suppliers as required
Job Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have had extensive sourcing experience within a manufacturing firm. Strong communication, project management, strategic thinking, supplier development, and organizational skills are essential.
Additional experience should include:
- 5 plus years in Supply Chain leadership role in a B-T-B environment
- Leadership role in a growth oriented business with integrating acquired technologies
- Confirmed executive technical leadership capability, with the ability to effectively take a hands on and involved approach when required
- Management of offsite teams
- Experience in engineered products / systems
- International exposure to multiple countries
- Intimate knowledge of and experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Implementation of lean principles throughout manufacturing
In addition to practical experience, a Bachelors degree will be required and any advanced degrees will be strongly desired. Particular experience in the aquatic marketplace will be a key positive but not a requirement.
