Since then, we have become more popularly known as CVS, but our focus on providing value to our customers has remained our hallmark.Position Summary Assists the Sr. Manager, Business Analysis and/or independently manages the solutions planning process throughout the solutions planning and development lifecycle Leads business teams and cross-competency teams completing tasks related to business solution planning, business case development as well as documenting and managing customer requirements throughout the development lifecycle. This includes requirements definition, requirements analysis, business process analysis; requirements change management, use case and business process modeling, logical system and data design and high level estimating. The Business analyst will act as a steward of the requirements within a domain and be responsible for ensuring the requirements are comprehensive, clear, testable, well documented and maintained. Supports the Test effort validating requirements test coverage in Test Strategies, Plans and Scenarios. Job Requirements
Required Qualifications 3 5 years of successful business analysis or project management experience including writing business requirements 3 5 years experience in the software development methodology lifecycle - including business planning, data analysis, process analysis and design, business and functional requirements analysis, use case analysis, system design, development, testing, and implementation 3 5 years experience working in and/or leading dynamic cross-competency teams using a structured project methodology 1 to 3 years experience developing use cases using a software development methodology Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio) Interviewing skills, to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information Listening skills, to understand what people say and to detect what they might be hesitant to say Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, assess risk, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements Reasoning and decision-making skills, to determine and recommend solution alternatives that satisfy requirements while also meeting aggressive schedules and budgets Facilitation skills, to lead requirements elicitation workshops Observational skills, to validate data obtained via other techniques and expose new areas for elicitation Writing and Verbal skills with a meticulous attention to detail, to communicate information effectively to customers, managers, and technical staff Organizational skills, to work in a fast-paced environment, on multiple projects and tasks concurrently, while also working with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis and to cope with rapidly changing information Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders (such as customers, project management, and technical staff) Modeling skills, to represent requirements information in graphical forms that augment textual representations in natural language
Preferred Qualifications Pharmacy or Healthcare knowledge highly-desirable Experience with process improvement concepts a plus Technical and development background a plus
Education Bachelor Degree in Business, Information Systems or Computer Science required
