Job Description

An experienced strategic sourcingprofessional providing advice and guidance across multiple commodities andcategories. Providing input to own area/business plan/objectives and managingdelivery of key objectives. Developing strategies, policies or procedures whichimpact Group-wide; involvement in high level analysis and decision making;utilization of resources impacting own area of responsibility and discreteparts of the Businesses/Functions; project management; relationship managementinternally and externally. Manage sourcing strategy and practices forone or more commodities

Partner with businesses to define theirsourcing needs, then develop and implement a plan to meet those needs Deliverproject requirements in the context of sourcing principles

Develop and manage effective relationshipswith key stakeholders

Influence decision makers at all levels toachieve sourcing objectives

Key accountability for sourcing processes andcontracts, managed in a cost effective manner

Identification of most appropriate sourcingcontract for the client

Act as a positive change agent within theGroup and help business lines manage this change

Lead/manage project management or businessteams of up to 5 people

Help drive innovation, efficiency anddevelop/promote sourcing best practice

Develop Vendor Management strategies for keysuppliers that drive continuous improvement and incremental value fromrelationship year-over-year.

Host regular reviews with stakeholders todefine sourcing and vendor management strategy

Manage business & regulatory riskassociated with assigned categories and vendors

Ensure that assigned commodities are sourcedusing compliant Purchase-To-Pay channels
