Clinical Care Managers at Providence

Job Description

We have several full-time, direct hire Behavioral Health Care Manager positions available in Providence, RI.
The Clinical Care Managers provide telephonic assessments, referrals, and benefit-related counseling. They collect clinical data from the caller that is sufficient to make appropriate referrals, level of care recommendations, and certification decisions. Every call is triaged based on acuity and the level of risk to self and/or others. The CCM collaborates with providers to determine adequate and essential levels of care and to facilitate transfers to appropriate facilities and providers. They evaluate clinical appropriateness of treatment using professional knowledge of clinical criteria and worksite guidelines and they render certification decisions or seek supervisory consultations for non-certification decisions. CCMs also facilitate coordination of care with other care managers to assure continuity of care.

Schedule is M-F, 8:30AM-5PM with no weekend or on-call required.  Excellent salary and benefit package!

 

 

 

Job Requirements

Minimum of a masters degree in mental health related discipline or a minimum of a BSN degree in nursing with related psychiatric nursing experience. Independent licensure in a mental health related field (RN,  LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, Psy.D). Must have solid communication and computer skills with previous managed care experience a plus!
