Senior System Administrator at Johnston

This position is responsible for providing senior technical level support in the Server Infrastructure Services group. Primary responsibility for the design, implementation and maintenance of our clients Active Directory infrastructure and associated interfaces to other enterprise systems as required. Job functions include designing, implementing and supporting complex Windows Security solutions. This position also requires understanding of related technologies such as Group Policy, DFS Replication and principle of least privilege security practices. Upcoming projects will include Review of Active Directory Architecture and Windows 8 Migration Preparedness.
Candidate proven track record of coaching/training/mentoring other team members through knowledge transfer. Installation of software products & utilities, system administration activities, system upgrades, set-up & support of Windows Server 2008/12 and off hours support are also required.

• 4-5 years of Windows 2003/2008 server and Active Directory experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills managing Microsoft Active Directory in a medium to large enterprise organization.
• solid working knowledge of the Windows 2003/2008 architecture & associated products, account & file security, network services (VPN, DHCP, WINS, DDNS, Public Key Infrastructure, Trusts, etc.) and network monitoring.
• Team Player mentality and Forward Thinker
• Experience with Installation of software products

• Experience supporting Windows Server 2012.
• Security Background
• Experience with Powershell Scripting
• MCSE
• Experience with ITIL
• Knowledge & experience with Cisco networking, Powershell scripting and security best practices
