Data Analyst at Smithfield

Job Description

Data Analyst, Smithfield, RIResponsible for managing data files and the manipulation of them, plus loading of them into our systems. Accuracy is essential as data and our systems play a large role in the success of our business. Work with Customer Service, Product Marketing, Sales, and Pricing teams to insure that the customer and price data requests are reported and followed upon to insure that they are understood and/or issues resolved. Manage ad reporting in excel and via system downloads.Validate and process rebate requests.Validate and enter customer maintenance requests into our systems.Additional tasks as assigned by Manager.Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.Marketing or Finance background preferred.Previous interactions with sales force or customer service departments a plus. JDE, SAP and /or Business Objects knowledge a plus.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent quantitative and analytical skills, ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentAdvanced Excel skills (including mastery of pivot tables and vlookups), Outlook and Word. Must be detail oriented and a collaborative thinker.For this particular position US citizenship is requested.

Job Requirements
