Special bonus compensation package for teams coming on board!The ideal Retail Branch Manager will have 10+ years experience in the mortgage industry, possess excellent knowledge and skill in all aspects of residential mortgage lending, will be able to take initiative as a team leader and excel at client/referral relationships and communication.The Retail Branch Manager would be responsible for primarily overseeing and coordinating loan facilitation and branch operations, including but not limited to loan processing, underwriting, final loan decisions, investor compliance, loan documents, funding, branch customer satisfaction, operations personnel and branch profitability.Responsibilities Sources, develops and structures mortgage financing requests for new and existing customers Negotiates terms, structures loan financing based on risk considerations and presents credits for approval to appropriate levels of authority as required Utilizes in-house programs to meet customers credit needs with alternative broker product a secondary choice Assists customers with inquiries and information requests and resolves complaints relating to loan products and services offeredPre-requisites Bachelors degree in finance, business or economics preferred but not required Minimum of 10 years in the mortgage lending or banking industry and 5 years managerial experience for Retail Branch Manager position Senior Loan Officers will have 3 or more years lending experience while Junior Loan Officers will have 0-3 years Past or current experience with realtor relationship new loans is highly desirable Working knowledge of standard loan products in the industry, various state guidelines and strong familiarity with underwriting standards Prior credit signing authority is mandatory THIS PERSON MUST have a Mortgage License and Mortgage Industry ExperienceSkills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume Strong interpersonal-communication and business-relationship skills Detail oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication Proven leadership and mentoring skills to build a strong lending team Strong project management and time management skills Strong problem solving skills and ability to research issues with loan files and resolve them quickly
