Business Analyst, Medical Benefit Management

In this position, the Business Analyst will provide a broad range of support to the Medical Benefit Management (MBM) program owner for the Data-driven Client Consultative review. Specific activities to support this function include initial assessment for key findings identified in the MBM opportunity analysis, assessment of benefit design and plan design review for CVS Caremark recommended changes, coordination of clinical policy review, comparative review of medical versus pharmacy UM programs for potential member and prescriber impact, etc. You will assist and/or lead implementation calls and activities with clients and with the clients medical carrier(s) for Drug Benefit and Site of Care Alignment strategies to develop client specifications, provide direction to clients medical carrier(s), and management of deliverables for a successful implementation. You will lead coordination of client deliverables for medical claims opportunity analysis and client implementations, including facilitation of hub program notification, coordination of member outreach with Specialty Operations, and physician sales to coordinate prescriber education and outreach efforts. You will also lead issue resolution to ensure client satisfaction with program implementation and work interdepartmentally to identify opportunities for process improvement. Managing drug list updates with clients and their medical carriers for ongoing program enhancement and coding changes will also be a function of this role.

Bachelors degree

5-8 years of Project Management experience required. Experience in the healthcare industry and specialty pharmacy experience is strongly preferred. Candidates must also have excellent communications skills both verbal and written as well as strong problem solving skills and the ability to effectively multi-task. Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint is also required.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree with 5-8 years of demonstrated Project Management experience. Experience in the healthcare industry and specialty pharmacy experience is strongly preferred. Candidates must also have excellent communications skills both verbal and written as well as strong problem solving skills and the ability to effectively multi-task. Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint is also required.
