Prncpl Indust Security Spec



 This position is for a Senior Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO)/Senior Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) who will manage all aspects of industrial security for several Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Programs.  This individual will develop, implement and administer security procedures for classified and proprietary materials, documents, and equipment for several large contractual efforts. The position requires interface with various government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations.  Responsible for preparing manuals outlining regulations and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and maintaining records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. 
Additional duties include:  (1) Lead SAP/SCI Contract Proposal Security Management, (2) Lead Subject Matter Expert for SCIF and SAPF construction, (3) conducting security education training classes, (4) investigating security infractions/violations and preparing reports specifying preventive actions to be taken, (5) participation in security reviews, comparing procedures with actual operations, documenting findings, recommending corrective action, and re-evaluating implementation of corrective action, (6) supporting customer driven test events, often outside of normal work hours, (7) maintains a comprehensive personnel access program for several hundred individuals, including continuous evaluation of personnel security clearance status. 
Basic Qualifications:
 

* Bachelors Degree with 6 years experience in SAPs

* Experience with NISPOM, Chapter 8, JAFANs, DCIDS and ICDs

* Top Secret Clearance, with SSBI/SBPR Investigation date within past 4.5 years

* US Drivers License
 
Desired Qualifications:

* Minimum 5-10 years experience in SAP/SAR/SCI community, including SCIF and SAPF construction

* Self Starter with ability to independently perform job duties with minimum supervision

* Experience with all aspects of personnel processing to include, JPAS, eQIP, PAR preparation, and tier review required

* Excellent writing and communications skills - must be skilled in using Microsoft Office Products

* Personnel Management and Budgeting Skills

* Previous US Government Customer interactions a plus.

* Flexible work hours and available for some travel to remote sites

* Good administrative and office management skills.

* Well organized with proven ability to prioritize on a daily basis

* Excellent attention to detail, time management and follow-through

* Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

* Proven ability to successfully work under pressure
