If you are a PHP Developer with a strong background programming in opensource environments, please read on

We are based in Providence Rhode Island and while the ideal candidate would be able to work 3-5 days a week in our office, so we are open to folks a bit further than the immediate Providence area!

What you need for this position:

- 2+ years of programming in PHP5, as well as experience with the latest features and commonly used frameworks such as Zend and Drupal
- A strong handle on MySQL and the ability to write intermediate to advanced SQL queries
- Experience with front-end web technologies: XHTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX/JSON preferred
- Experience with TDD/BDD frameworks and Agile development methodologies
- Experience in objective-oriented design and development of applications and systems
- Disciplined approach to development, testing, and quality assurance

What youll be doing:

- Design, implementation and maintenance of PHP-based applications
- Refactor and improve maintainability of the code base
- Work with our internal QA team to manage complicated bug fixes
- Take a real interest in problem solving to better our products and service our clients!
- Make disciplined use of source control and bug tracking systems
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Use of the latest tools and techniques (Agile Methodologies, Web Services and API development)
- Use BDD/TDD techniques during development
- Manage small projects independently and work as a team member on larger projects
