We are currently conducting a search for a Plastics Compounding Engineer who has experience in plastic injection molding. The candidate will have experience in developing new product formulations and can determine customer application requirements. You will have the ability to identify plant equipment and proper processes to manufacture products. Excellent communication skills to educate customers about processes and material capabilities is a must. You will also maintain industry knowledge pertaining to compounding, materials, and technology. This position will also assist the General Manager with ISO and quality programs, and will also assist in sending out customer COAs, technical documents, and customer requests. You will establish work practices and processes to improve the overall performance, quality of service, efficiency, and productivity. RequirementsBachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related field of study.
Minimum of 5 years experience in the plastics compounding field.
Color matching is a plus.
